The Good Friday Men's Breakfast is an opportunity for men of all ages to gather in community, hear the word, enjoy an engaging speaker and some great food. The cost is $10. The guest speaker this year is Kelly Guncheon.

A Chicago-area native:
I was raised a Catholic and went through a progression of denominations before settling on Episcopalian shortly after Rowen was born. Both my religion and my faith shaped my childhood--not necessarily in a good way when it came to religion.

I believe that both Jesus and the Bible provide us with advice on how to live our lives, and there was no bigger social-justice activist than Jesus. While both of my daughters at home are still figuring out their faith paths, for me, my actions manifest my faith and as such are far more important than ritual and what I profess to believe.
