Peace, Church!
I am delighted to be with you today, and I bring you warm greetings from the Universal Assembly of Saints.
Allow me to briefly share our story. In December 2020, we began gathering for prayers in the basement of a brother’s home. As time went by, word spread through the community, and several families joined us.
Eventually, the brother who had so graciously welcomed us explained that he could no longer accommodate so many people in his home. In June 2021, we started looking for a place where we could hold our worship services, even though we did not have the financial resources to rent a facility. We reached out to several churches, without success. After many unsuccessful attempts, I asked the brothers who served alongside me, in September 2021, to continue the search.
That is how they came to Mount Olivet. They presented our situation on my behalf, and when they returned, they told me about the warm and gracious welcome they had received. Their testimony renewed our hope.
We then met Pastor Beth, who kindly agreed to present our request to the church council. Shortly afterward, we received a favorable response. Since that day, we have been holding our worship services in this building. Today, it has been more than four years.
I am here this morning, above all, to express our deepest gratitude. Thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to carry out our ministry in this place. Your love, kindness, and support have greatly contributed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
May Yahweh Shaddai abundantly bless the entire Mount Olivet community and its leaders.
Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much,
Pastor Philippe
