Kids & Communion

Kids & Communion // Sunday, March 3 // 10-10:45am // CM140

Maybe your child has been taking communion for years. Maybe you’re waiting until they get older. Maybe they love talking about the bread and juice they get at church, or maybe you don’t know how to answer their questions. Whatever your situation, Holy Communion is central to our worship life, and we want you to know about it and be able to discuss it as a family. Pastor Beth and Pastor Joel will join parents (AND interested grandparents!) to discuss why Mount Olivet encourages children to come to the communion table, equip you to talk to your children (or grandchildren) about this special meal, and answer questions. Copies of Daniel Erlander’s “A Place for You, Little One” board book (which we’ll read during the session) will be available for purchase ($10 cash or check). Children are welcome to attend this special time of learning and growing with their pastors. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
