In the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), an individual graduating from seminary is not officially ordained as a pastor until they receive a specific call from a congregation.  As Mount Olivet has now called Joel Bergeland as our associate pastor, we are honored that he has chosen to hold his ordination worship service here at MO.

His ordination will be held in the Worship Center at 2:30pm, on Sunday, October 30.
This is a major milestone in Joel's life as a pastor and all are invited to join.

Service will be from 2:30pm to 4pm with a reception to follow.
