ADVENT 2025

Jesus entered a fearful world, one filled with rampant oppression, economic disparity, uncertainty, and instability. A world not so unlike our own. And yet, throughout the stories of Christ’s birth, we hear the whispers of angels delivering a surprising message: “Do not fear.”

As we journey through this season, may your hope become gritty and resilient. May you remember: hope that trembles is still hope. This season, let us insist on hope and trust that good news is greater than fear.

Advent Lanterns and Calendars

Advent Lanterns

Help decorate the Welcome Center this Advent by coloring and making lanterns. The lanterns also have a companion guide for caretakers for talking about hope and fear with children.

Color a lantern while at church (markers and crayons are available), or take some home to color and bring back. You’re welcome to make more than one this Advent season!

Advent Calendars

Advent Calendars from Sanctified Art are available in the Welcome Center. There is a reflection word and accompanying breath prayer for each day of Advent.

Holiday giving

Donate items for Northport’s Winter Bazaar by Sunday, November 30 and for PRISM’s Holiday Toy Shoppe by Wednesday, December 3. Find out more at the link below.
