Mount Olivet’s Be Open Vision emerged in 2019 after active community listening and discernment. Because of God’s Spirit and your generosity, the first two phases, Open Grounds and Open Tables are thriving. We now embark on Open Doors.
Doors are Opening!
One door has already opened: A $325,000 legacy matching gift given towards paying off the church’s mortgage. The generosity of this Mount Olivet family has set this vision in motion.
A second door opened with the receipt of $450,000 in COVID relief funds (Employee Retention Credit refunding payroll tax paid during the mandatory shutdown) which will be put towards the mortgage.
The congregation of Mount Olivet holds the key to opening the third door: an additional $325,000 will complete the mortgage payoff. Let’s match the generous legacy gift and OPEN DOORS to the future.
