We will brew together the first Sunday of the month, and go on a field trip to an area tap room on the third Sunday.

Guys Who Like Movies // Group Contact: Kevin Miller
For all Mount Olivet men and their friends. We meet the third Thursday of each month at the Caribou Coffee by the Plymouth Mann at about 6:30pm. We'll choose a movie to attend, and then adjourn to Applebees after the movie for beverages, snacks, and critique. All are welcome!

Knitters // Group Contact: Holly Carlson
We call ourselves the Knitting Group, but actually anyone who does any kind of needlecraft is welcome to join us! Our favorite service project is knitting or crocheting prayer shawls for people with serious health problems or troubles.  Prayer shawls are our way of wrapping people in God’s love and comfort when they need it most. The shawls are easy to make, and yarn is provided from donations.

MO Time // Group Contact: Cathy Schmidt
A group for empty-nesters and parents whose kids are out of confirmation programming. We meet on the third Sunday each month between services to connect with one another, sometimes off-site or at church!

Mount Olivet Parents Connect // Group Contact: Katherine Johnson

Quilters // Group Contact: Nancy VandeVegte
This group meets three times a month on the first and third Thursday mornings (9 a.m. until noon) and the fourth Tuesday evening (7-9 p.m.). Quilt tops are sewn together by individuals at home and then the tops are tied when the group meets at Mount Olivet in the Conference Room.

Scrap & Craft Group // Group Contact: Leslie Gentner
Do you love to take photos? or scrap? or have a portable craft? The MOPLY Scrap and Craft Group gathers eight-10 times per year to work on individual projects in the company of other women. Originally focused on paper scrapbooking, members also work on digital albums, or use the time to work on other portable craft projects. Connect with other women, work on your project, get inspired, manage your photo files - this time is very flexible. Bring your computer (wi-fi available), or bring boxes, stacks, memorabilia and miscellaneous supplies. We meet Friday evening and some Saturdays. Contact Leslie for fall dates.

Stamping Group // Group Contact: Lori Hothan
The Mount Olivet Stamping Group is a group of women who take pride in giving back to Mount Olivet as well as other communities and organizations.  We create various types of cards to be sent to those who are ill, home bound, children who are hospitalized,  and Trinity Birthday Box program recipients.  We meet the third Saturday of each month, unless it falls on a holiday weekend. Occasionally we have open stamping to work on whatever project(s) you may have.  All are welcome to come and join in on the fun of stamping and giving back to great causes.
